Older Adult of the Year Nomination Deadline Extended

Sixteen congregations in Providence Presbytery have chosen to honor a deserving older person (or married couple) in their congregations by submitting the name of those persons for special recognition at the Older Adult Luncheon that will be held on September 15 at Bethelwoods Camp and Conference Center. This has been a very popular event since it was started a few years ago and we do not want any church to overlook this opportunity to participate. The Presbytery (through its Nurture of the People of God Ministry Team) pays for the costs for the honorees (lunch, certificate, and entertainment). The deadline for submitting your nominee has been extended to August 31. You may use the form on our website or you may respond to this email. We would like to have a few comments about the honored person to share at the luncheon.
