Members of Providence Presbytery,
As you all heard at the last Presbytery meeting, we are welcoming Parker Lucas as the new Program Director of Bethelwoods in late May. Parker and his wife Michelle are looking forward to moving to camp from Waco, TX. As we prepare for their arrival camp needs YOUR help!
The program director’s house is in need of some TLC and we need volunteers to help with a multitude of projects to get the house ready for Parker & Michelle. We will have work days on the following Saturday’s:
April 22nd
April 29th
May 6th
May 20th
If you or a group from your church can help out with any of the projects listed below please contact Anne or Stephen at the camp office to schedule a time that works for your group. Even if you only have a few hours to give. We have projects as simple as bringing a truck and trailer to load and haul off some unneeded items.
We would love to see as many of our churches as possible come out and donate any time they can to camp. If you haven’t been to camp in a while or even never this is a great time to come and see what we are all about and get involved!
Camp will supply all materials needed (unless you feel led to donate) we just need the manpower to accomplish these tasks so that we can welcome the Lucas’s to camp with their house ready to move in!
Projects Include:
Patching and preparing walls for painting, including taping off windows and doors
Painting
Installing window blinds
Cleaning Windows
Deep cleaning rooms and kitchen cabinets
Cleaning hardwood floors and kitchen laminate
Installing ceiling fans
Painting exterior doors
General yard work (trimming shrubs, blowing leaves)
Blowing out/Cleaning Gutters
Pressure Washing exterior of house
