Guided by the Holy Spirit, the Mission of Providence Presbytery is to equip, support and connect our congregations as they faithfully serve Jesus Christ in a changing world.
Providence Presbytery serves Presbyterian (U.S.A.) congregations primarily in Lancaster, Union, Chester, Kershaw and York counties in the piedmont region of South Carolina. You can view our community of churches here.
Providence Presbytery supports our churches during the good times and the hard times including providing support for theological education for adults and young members. When churches are in transition, we support the leadership with consulting services as well as help with finding a supply pastor. Our staff is available to provide Board of Pensions support as well as technology and grant writing assistance.
